Father's Unknown Cliff Introduction
Dongpu Cliff, also known as the "Father Doesn't Know Son Cliff," is located at the entrance of the Batongguan Historic Trail. It features a weathered shale cliff landscape, and due to its treacherous terrain, rockfalls are frequent, which gives rise to its evocative name. This implies that even if a father and son walk here together, they cannot look out for each other. Although the section known as "Father and Son Cliff" is extremely perilous to traverse, safety has been improved with the installation of handrails and ropes along the cliff, enhancing the safety of hikers.
