Father Doesn't Know Son Cliff Introduction
Dongpu Cliff, also known as Father Doesn't Know Son Cliff, is located at the entrance of the Batongguan Historic Trail. It features a dramatic vertical cliff landscape formed by weathered shale. Due to the treacherous terrain, rockfalls occur frequently, leading to its evocative name, which implies that even a father and son walking together cannot support each other in this perilous area. Although the section known as Father-Son Cliff is extremely dangerous to traverse, safety measures such as handrails and ropes have now been installed, enhancing the hiking experience.
