Father Doesn't Know Son Cliff Introduction
Dongpu Cliff, also known as "Father Doesn't Know Son Cliff," is located at the entrance of the Batongguan Trail. It features a scenic landscape of weathered shale cliffs. Due to the treacherous terrain, rockfalls occur frequently, which lends the name a vivid meaning, suggesting that even if a father and son walk together here, they cannot look out for each other. Although the "Father-Son Cliff" segment is extremely risky to traverse, the cliff area is now equipped with handrails and ropes for climbing, enhancing the safety of hiking.
