Father Does Not Know Child Cliff Introduction
Dongpu Cliff, also known as the Father and Son Cliff, is located at the entrance of the Batongguan Old Trail. It is a stunning landscape of weathered shale cliffs. Due to its treacherous terrain, rockfalls are frequent, leading to its evocative name that suggests even if a father and son were to walk together here, they would be unable to support each other. Although the section known as the "Father and Son Cliff" is extremely perilous to traverse, protective railings and ropes have now been installed along the cliff to enhance hiking safety.
