Built in the 29th year of the Republic of China, it served as an important road for the village of Beigang. Using the most arduous ancient techniques, the ancestors mixed brown sugar, kenaf, and glutinous rice with concrete to create a solid bridge combined with hard river stones. It has been designated as a county-level historic site by the Nantou County Government.
