Built in the 29th year of the Republic of China, it was an important road for external communication for the old Beigang Village. The ancestors used the most arduous ancient materials technology to mix brown sugar, ramie, and glutinous rice with concrete, combined with hard river stones to create a sturdy bridge, which has been announced as a county-designated historic site by the Nantou County Government.
