Built in the 29th year of the Republic, it was an important road for the people of Beigang Village to connect with the outside world. The ancestors used the most arduous ancient materials technique to mix brown sugar, ramie, and glutinous rice concrete, combined with hard river stones to create a solid bridge, which has been designated as a county-level historic site by the Nantou County Government.
