China Lake World Museum Introduction
The founder of the Chung Tai World Museum, Master Wei-Jue An, upholds the compassionate teachings of Buddhism and promotes the Five Transformations of Buddhism: educational, academic, artistic, scientific, and practical. Through this, he hopes to disseminate the compassion and wisdom of Buddhism widely. The construction of the Chung Tai World Museum is a concrete manifestation of the artistic expression of Buddhism, serving as a platform to practice the "artistic world." Following the founder's principles regarding the museum's responsibilities—spreading the teachings, preserving historical culture, education, and art—and his confidence in Buddhism, the museum aims to provide historical testimony through the display of Buddhist art and culture, increasing people's understanding and confidence in Buddhism, and spreading the wisdom, compassion, and equality of Buddhism to the hearts of all who are destined to receive it.
