Hu Zhong Forest Station Introduction

Located upstream of Beigang River, it is the experimental forest of National Chung Hsing University. Most of the area consists of natural coniferous and broadleaf forests, featuring different forest types from temperate and subtropical regions. With high mountains and deep valleys, lush greenery, the scenery is extremely beautiful, making it an excellent spot for forest bathing and hiking. The high mountain reaches 2,419 meters, and the canyon (Beigang River Canyon) is 500 meters deep, hosting a diverse range of tree species and well-planned facilities, making it suitable for ecology and recreation.
