Huai-Sun Forest Recreation Area Introduction

Located upstream of the Beigang River, it is the experimental forest of National Chung Hsing University, with most of its area comprising natural coniferous and broadleaf forests, featuring different forest types of temperate and subtropical climates. With its deep valleys and lush forests, the scenery is exceptionally beautiful, making it an excellent spot for forest bathing and hiking. The mountain (2,419 meters) and canyon (Beigang River Canyon, 500 meters) host a diverse range of tree species and are well-planned, suitable for ecological and recreational activities.
