Taiwan Route 1 Maple Pavilion - Nan Fang Garden Banquet Hall Introduction
Tai Yi Maple Pavilion, affiliated with the Nan Fang Garden Banquet Hall, is located in Puli Township, Nantou County, which is renowned for its title of "Flower City." The use of flowers, seasonal vegetables, and fruits has become a well-known feature of its beautiful dishes. To ensure guests can dine with peace of mind and health, Tai Yi Seedling Farm has specially designated an area to cultivate organic flowers, incorporating local Nantou vegetables into the menu, thus providing stunning local delicacies to satisfy the palates of both domestic and international guests. Chef Pan Zhi-Hong of Nan Fang adheres to the concept of "Eating Flowers for Health" and skillfully utilizes local Nantou produce such as bamboo shoots, mushrooms, beauty legs, wild shallots, and passion fruits, along with Tai Yi's own flowers like begonia, summer violets, wild ginger flowers, and golden lotus flowers, to introduce a "Nantou Local Flower Feast" that features healthy nourishment and floral flavors. Notably, the restaurant boasts a 13-meter high floor-to-ceiling window design, enhanced by landscaping with native plants such as royal palm trees, ferns, and a variety of flowers, creating an enchanting dining experience surrounded by greenery, flowers, and fragrances.
