Yunlin High-Speed Rail Station Introduction
The Yunlin HSR Station is located in Huwei Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan. It is a station of the Taiwan High-Speed Rail, which began operation on December 1, 2015. In Taiwan, all stations named after the cities or counties in which they are located are operated by the Taiwan Railways Administration as the main stations of those cities or counties, with this station being one of only three exceptions along with Banqiao Station in New Taipei City and Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung City. Nearby recreational attractions include Huwei City, where visitors can tour towel factories and puppet theatres, as well as the Huwei Sugar Factory. To the north, along County Road 145, is Xiluo Township, where visitors can explore Yanping Old Street, Xiluo Guangfu Temple, Xiluo Fuxing Temple, and the Xiluo Bridge. To the west is Tuku Township, while to the east, following County Road 145, leads to the Huwei Interchange, ultimately reaching Douliu City by turning right in Caotong Township. Visitors can transfer to the Taiwan Railways in Douliu City or go to Douliu Baseball Stadium to watch a game.
