Yunlin High-Speed Rail Station Introduction
Yunlin HSR Station is located in Huwei Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan, and is a station on the Taiwan High Speed Rail. It began operations on December 1, 2015. In Taiwan, all stations that share their name with the county or city they are located in are operated by the Taiwan Railways Administration as the main station in the county or city, with this station being one of three exceptions alongside Banqiao Station in New Taipei City and Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung City. Nearby urban recreational attractions include the Huwei city area to the south, where visitors can explore towel factories and puppet museums, as well as the Huwei Sugar Refinery. To the north, along County Road 145, lies Xiluo Township, where visitors can visit Yanping Old Street, Xiluo Guangfu Temple (Xiluo Ma Temple), Xiluo Fuxing Temple, and Xiluo Bridge. To the west is Tuku Township, and to the east, County Route 145 Yi leads to the Huwei Interchange, ultimately reaching Douliu City by turning right through Chetong Township. From Douliu City, visitors can transfer to the Taiwan Railways or enjoy baseball games at the Douliu baseball stadium.
