Yunlin High-Speed Rail Station Introduction
The Yunlin High Speed Rail Station is located in Huwei Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan. It is a station on the Taiwan High Speed Rail line that began operations on December 1, 2015. In Taiwan, all train stations that share the same name as their respective counties and cities are operated by the Taiwan Railways Administration; however, this station, along with Banqiao Station in New Taipei City and Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung City, are the only three exceptions. Nearby urban recreational attractions include Huwei City, where visitors can explore towel factories, puppet theaters, and the Huwei Sugar Factory to the south. To the north, along County Road 145, is Xiluo Township, where you can visit Yanping Old Street, Xiluo Guangfu Temple (Xiluo Mama Temple), Xiluo Fuxing Temple, and Xiluo Bridge. To the west is Tukeng Township, and to the east, traveling along County Road 145 Section 2, you can reach the Huwei Interchange, eventually turning right to reach Douliu City. You can transfer to the Taiwan Railways in Douliu City or watch baseball games at the Douliu Baseball Stadium.
