Yunlin High-Speed Rail Station Introduction
Yunlin HSR Station is located in Huwei Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan, and is a station on the Taiwan High-Speed Rail line, which began operations on December 1, 2015. In Taiwan, all stations with the same name as their respective counties or cities are operated by the Taiwan Railway Administration as the main station of the county or city, and this station, along with Banqiao Station in New Taipei City and Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung City, is one of only three exceptions. Nearby recreational attractions include: to the south, Huwei City where visitors can explore towel factories and puppet theaters, as well as Huwei Sugar Factory; to the north, along County Road 145, is Xiluo Township with attractions such as Yanping Old Street, Xiluo Guangfu Temple (the Xiluo Mazu Temple), Xiluo Fuxing Temple, and Xiluo Bridge; to the west is Tukucheng Township, and to the east, along County Road 145 B heading through the Huwei Interchange, visitors can turn right to reach Douliu City. From Douliu City, one can transfer to the Taiwan Railway or visit Douliu Baseball Stadium to watch games.
