Yunlin High-Speed Rail Station Introduction
Yunlin HSR Station is located in Huwei Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan. It is a station of the Taiwan High Speed Rail, which began operations on December 1, 2015. In Taiwan, all stations sharing the same name as their respective counties and cities are operated by the Taiwan Railway Administration as the main station for that county or city. This station, along with Banqiao Station in New Taipei City and Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung City, is one of only three exceptions. Nearby recreational attractions include Huwei City, where visitors can explore towel factories and puppet theaters, as well as the Huwei Sugar Factory. Traveling north on County Road 145, one can reach Xiluo Township, where attractions include Yanping Old Street, Xiluo Guangfu Temple (Xiluo Ma Temple), Xiluo Fuxing Temple, and Xiluo Bridge. To the west is Tukou Township, and to the east, traveling along County Road 145, one can reach the Douliu City after exiting at Huwei Interchange. Visitors can transfer to Taiwan Railway in Douliu City or enjoy baseball games at Douliu Baseball Stadium.
