Wu Cuo Chao Xing Temple Introduction
Wu Cuo Ma, rich in local agricultural history, is named after Wu Cuo, but the predominant surname in the settlement is Liao. The religious center is the Chaoxing Temple, which worships Mazu, commonly referred to as Wu Cuo Ma. It is said that the temple was built during the Qianlong period and is the second embedded in the Xiluo Seven Kanc. In recent years, there has been an active revival of the "Qikan Welcoming Mazu" event, which parades through 25 villages of the Seven Kanc.
