Wu Cuo Ma is a historical site rich in local development. Although it is named Wu Cuo, the predominant surname in the community is Liao. The religious center is Chaoxing Temple, which enshrines Mazu, commonly referred to as Wu Cuo Ma. It is said that this temple was built during the Qianlong period and is the second installation among the seven Kankan of Xiluo. In recent years, there has been an active revival of the event "Seven Kankan Welcomes Mazu," which includes a procession through 25 villages of the seven Kankan.
