Wu Cuo Mama is a historical site rich in local agricultural development. Though it is named Wu Cuo, the predominant clan in the settlement is the Liao clan. The religious center, Chao Xing Temple, is dedicated to the worship of Mazu, commonly known as Wu Cuo Mama. This temple is said to have been established during the Qianlong period and is the second of the seven embedded temples in Xiluo Qikan. In recent years, efforts have been made to revive the "Qikan Yama Mazu" event, which involves a pilgrimage through 25 villages in Qikan.

Wu Cuo Mazu, rich in local development history, is named after the Wu family, but the main clan in the settlement is the Liao family. The faith center, Chaoxing Temple, is dedicated to Mazu, commonly known as Wu Cuo Mazu. It is said that the temple was built during the Qianlong period and belongs to the second embedded site among the Seven Khan of Xiluo. In recent years, there has been an active revival of the "Seven Khan Mazu Pilgrimage," which travels through 25 villages of the Seven Khan.
