Guandu Temple Introduction
Guandu Temple in Taipei City has a history of over 300 years and is dedicated to Ma Zu, the goddess of the sea. It is the earliest Ma Zu temple in northern Taiwan. In addition to worshiping Ma Zu and various deities, visitors can admire many precious historical artifacts and the rich architectural art of the temple. Strategically located at the confluence of the Danshui River and Keelung River and the foothills of Datun and Guanyin Mountains, the scenic views are breathtaking, especially during sunset when the magnificent landscape is truly awe-inspiring.
