Guandu Temple, Taipei Introduction

Guandu Temple in Taipei has a history of over 300 years and is dedicated to Matsu, the Goddess of the Sea. It is the earliest Matsu temple in northern Taiwan. In addition to worshipping Matsu and various deities, visitors can appreciate many precious historical relics and the rich architectural art of the temple. Due to its location at the confluence of the Tamsui River and Keelung River, where the foothills of Datun and Guanyin Mountains meet, the scenic views are magnificent. Every time at sunset, the grand landscape is truly breathtaking. Recommended nearby itinerary: Recommended itinerary.
