Golden Waterway Bicycle Lane Introduction
The Golden Waterway Bicycle Path is located in the Tamsui District of New Taipei City, starting from Guanshan Park near Guandu Temple and extending all the way to the bike path of the Tamhai New Town, with a total length of about 15 kilometers. The Golden Waterway Bicycle Path is a route that allows cyclists to enjoy the cultural and natural scenery of Tamsui, passing by attractions such as the Tamsui Mangrove Nature Reserve, Tamsui Riverside Scenic Walk, Tamsui Old Street, Rongdi Café, and Fisherman's Wharf, while also offering views of Guanyin Mountain in Bali. The flat bike path is very pleasant. Along the Golden Waterway Bicycle Path, the Tamsui Mangrove Nature Reserve features the largest Salicornia forest in the world and various ecological animals such as fiddler crabs, water birds, and mudskippers. If you're hungry, you can head to Tamsui Old Street to taste local snacks and visit historic sites. Before sunset, visit Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf to watch the sunset and enjoy a perfect day.
