Golden Coast Bicycle Path Introduction
The Golden Water Bay Bicycle Path is located in the Tamsui District of New Taipei City, starting from Guanshan Park near the Kuandu Temple and extending to the bicycle path of the Tanshui New Town, with a total length of approximately 15 kilometers. The Golden Water Bay Bicycle Path is a scenic route that offers stunning views of Tamsui's cultural and natural landscapes, passing by attractions such as the Tamsui Mangrove Nature Reserve, Tamsui Riverside Scenic Walkway, Tamsui Old Street, Yongti Cafe, and Fisherman's Wharf. Along the way, you can also enjoy a view of Guanyin Mountain in Bali, and the flat biking path is very pleasant. Along the Golden Water Bay Bicycle Path, the Tamsui Mangrove Nature Reserve showcases the world's largest Avicennia marina forest, as well as various species of wildlife, such as mudskippers, waterbirds, and fiddler crabs. If you get hungry, you can head to Tamsui Old Street to sample local snacks and visit historic sites.
