Golden Coast Bicycle Path Introduction
The Golden Waterside Bicycle Path is located in the Tamsui District of New Taipei City, starting from Guanshan Park near Guandu Temple and extending all the way to the Tamhai New Town bicycle path, with a total length of about 15 kilometers. The Golden Waterside Bicycle Path offers a beautiful view of Tamsui's cultural and natural landscapes, passing by attractions such as the Tamsui Mangrove Protected Area, Tamsui Riverside Scenic Walkway, Tamsui Old Street, Yongti Cafe, and Fisherman's Wharf. Along the way, you can also gaze at Guanyin Mountain in Bali, with its flat roads making for a very comfortable ride. Along the Golden Waterside Bicycle Path, you can see the world's largest stand of mangrove trees in the Tamsui Mangrove Protected Area as well as various ecological animals such as fiddler crabs, water birds, and mudskippers. If you get hungry, you can head to Tamsui Old Street to sample local snacks and visit historical monuments. In the evening, go to Fisherman's Wharf to watch the sunset, enjoying a perfect day.
