Golden Waterway Bicycle Path Introduction
The Golden Riverside Bicycle Path is located in the Tamsui District of New Taipei City. It starts from Guan Mountain Park near Guandu Temple and extends all the way to the bicycle path in the Tamhai New Town, covering approximately 15 kilometers. The Golden Riverside Bicycle Path offers an opportunity to enjoy the cultural and natural sceneries of Tamsui, passing attractions such as the Tamsui Mangrove Conservation Area, the Tamsui River waterfront promenade, Tamsui Old Street, Rongti Cafe, and Fisherman's Wharf, with views of Guanyin Mountain in Bali along the way. The flat pathway is very pleasant to ride on. Along the Golden Riverside Bicycle Path, visitors can see the world's largest Kandelia mangrove forest and various wildlife, including fiddler crabs, water birds, and mudskippers. If you get hungry, you can head to Tamsui Old Street to taste local snacks and visit historical landmarks. Before sunset, make your way to Fisherman's Wharf to enjoy the sunset, completing a perfect day.
