Xinglong Park Introduction
Xinglong Park is centered around a scenic lake, featuring an antique-style pond surrounded by weeping willows and shaded trees, creating a poetic atmosphere which is one of the park's characteristics. It also includes rockeries and fountains, with a walking path along the lake and a central arch bridge, providing an elegant landscape that many wedding photographers choose for their classic style shoots with newlyweds. On the northeastern side of the lake, there is a park monument, and to the north, an entrance leads to a children's playground and a newly built underground parking lot managed for public use, aiming to provide more parking space and improved services for residents. The park is home to various trees, including White Chienshan, banyans, maples, blackboard trees, crape myrtles, beauty trees, goat's foot trees, cherry blossoms, and coconuts. Under the shade of these large plantings, along with the addition of stone tables and chairs by enthusiastic citizens for resting and cooling off, the number of people visiting for exercise and leisure is steadily increasing. With citizens actively maintaining the park's environment, maintaining cleanliness has become a collective effort. Every dusk, as golden sunlight spills over the entire park, wandering here gives one a feeling akin to rural simplicity. If visitors time their visit right, they can relish in a moment of leisure; all tranquility begins from here. Given its central location, convenient transportation, and rarity of noise, this park is highly recommended for a visit.
