Toad Mountain Huanmin New Village Introduction
The Toad Mountain Huamin New Village is located at the southern end of the Taipei Basin, next to the NTU Gongguan Business District. Built along the mountain, Huamin New Village is currently the only fully preserved Air Force family village in Taipei City. The community has a rich cultural preservation awareness and serves as the best venue to demonstrate the historical aspect of the community. In terms of ecology, community building, education, and architecture, Huamin New Village aims to be a sustainable mountain city family village, enhancing the cultural connotation and local memory of the southern part of the city, from reflecting on the stories of the family village era, preserving neighborhood mutual assistance functions, to introducing natural resources and developing environmental learning pathways.
