Shuiyuan Theater Introduction
Shuiyuan Theater is located on the 10th floor of Shuiyuan Building (Shuiyuan Market) and was originally the auditorium of the Taipei City Military Service Bureau. The Taipei City Government transformed this auditorium into a professional performance venue with a seating capacity of 500 through the Promotion of the Gongguan Riverside Integration Project, which has been in operation since the end of November 2011. It is managed and operated by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Taipei City Government and accepts applications from performing groups to schedule performances. In addition, Shuiyuan Theater continues to support the performing arts community by providing venue sponsorship to help promote long-term programming, with the hope of nurturing talent in the arts industry, building a favorable cultural environment, and enhancing the capacity of Taiwan's performing arts industry.
