Shuiyuan Theater Introduction
Shuiyuan Theater is located on the tenth floor of Shuiyuan Building (Shuiyuan Market) and was originally the auditorium of the Taipei City Military Service Office. Through the implementation of the Gongguan Riverside Integration Project, the Taipei City Government renovated the auditorium into a professional performance venue with 500 seats, which has been in operation since the end of November 2011. It is managed by the Cultural Affairs Department of the Taipei City Government and accepts applications from performance groups for scheduling performances. Additionally, Shuiyuan Theater continues to play a role in sponsoring venues to support performance groups in carrying out long-term performance program plans, aiming to nurture talents in the arts and cultural industry, establish a favorable environment for arts and culture, and strengthen the capabilities of Taiwan's performing arts industry.
