Underground Water Palace_Guan Yin Mountain Reservoir Introduction
Guanyin Mountain Reservoir is one of the designated historic sites of the "Taipei Waterway Water Source" architectural complex. It is a reservoir with a history of over a hundred years, designed to store purified drinking water. After the completion of a modern water purification facility in 1977, this site retired from service. However, it was reopened in 2019 to promote domestic tourism during the pandemic and has since become a new hidden gem in Taipei. Due to its unique architecture, the reservoir is also known as the "Underground Water Palace." You are invited to explore this century-old historic site and discover its beauty.
