Shuangcheng Street Night Market Introduction
Shuangcheng Street Night Market is almost entirely made up of established stalls that have been selling snacks for over 30 years. Because they are so delicious, word of mouth spreads rapidly, and even in windy or rainy weather, many old friends and new acquaintances show up. Although the night market is not large, the neatly arranged orange-red signs create an orderly atmosphere, making it the first regional demonstration night market in Taipei City. Additionally, there are quite a few pubs nearby, attracting some international friends to visit. The business at these stalls is thriving; one wouldn't know until they visit, and it's a must-try for everyone. The tasty Chiayi Chicken Rice is delicious and goes well with rice; the authentic boiled goose meat is filled with fragrant goose broth, satisfying picky palates; Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice) is also well-known, with Huang Ji Lu Rou Fan winning recognition in Taipei's Lu Rou Fan competition, on par with Chiayi Chicken Rice. The braised pork made with pork hocks and trotters is rich without being greasy. Lastly, don't forget the desserts here, such as grandma's traditional rice noodles and Aiyu jelly, nostalgic Taiwanese snacks that are surprisingly delicious!
