Shuangcheng Street Night Market Introduction

Shuangcheng Street Night Market is almost entirely made up of long-established stalls, selling snacks that have been around for over 30 years. Because they are simply delicious, word of mouth spreads quickly, and even in windy or rainy weather, many old friends and new acquaintances flock here. Although the night market is not large, the neatly arranged orange-red signs create an orderly environment, making it Taipei's first regional demonstration night market. Moreover, there are quite a few pubs nearby, attracting some international friends as well. The businesses at these stalls are thriving, and you won’t know until you visit; it’s essential to come and try the local delicacies. The tasty Chiayi chicken rice is delicious and pairs perfectly with rice; the authentic boiled goose is accompanied by a fragrant goose broth, satisfying even the pickiest eater; the braised pork rice is also famous, with Huang's Braised Pork Rice winning accolades in Taipei’s braised pork rice competition, and it's naturally delicious. The braised pork, cooked alongside pork hocks, is flavorful yet not greasy. Lastly, don’t forget the desserts here, such as grandma's traditional rice dumplings and aiyu jelly, nostalgic Taiwanese treats that are surprisingly delicious!
