Zhumei Clam Harbor Park Introduction
At the intersection of the 10-meter green belt extending from Chengde Road and Fuguo Road, an important location for the cross-axis green corridor, lies the Zhuomei Clam Harbor Park, a wetland park that balances flood detention, recreation, and ecology, covering an area of approximately 30,818 square meters. The park retains the old Shuangxi Riverbank, serving as a pool for the pumping station, providing flood detention space during inundation periods, while also acting as a community recreational wetland park on regular days. A shallow area has been planned on the east side of the river for a wetland area, preserving a complete ecosystem with minimal human interference, making it an excellent habitat for terrestrial birds to forage and breed. Visitors can enjoy the wetland ecology along the river while taking in the magnificent mountain shapes of Qixing Mountain and the Datun Mountain Range. Park facilities include scenic walking paths, a waterside platform, pedestrian arches, resting pavilions, and a walking pathway for leisure and sightseeing. Source: Park Walkthrough.
