Zhoumei Clam Harbor Park Introduction
Located at the intersection of Chengde Road and the extended section of Fuguo Road, specifically at a crucial point where the cross-axis green corridor meets, Zoumei Clam Port Park is a wetland park that balances flood detention, recreation, and ecology, covering an area of approximately 30,818 square meters. The park preserves the old Shuangxi River channel, maintaining riverbank slopes to serve as a pumping station's forebay, providing flood detention space during inundation periods, while functioning as a community leisure wetland park on regular days. On the eastern side of the river channel, a shallow area is designed as a grassland wetland zone, kept intact to minimize human interference, making it an excellent habitat for terrestrial birds to forage and breed. Visitors can enjoy the wetland ecology along the river while admiring the magnificent mountain shapes of Qixing Mountain and the Datun Mountain Range in the distance. The park features amenities such as scenic walking paths, water access platforms, pedestrian arched bridges, resting pavilions, and leisure walking trails.
