Zhoumei Clam Port Park Introduction
At the intersection of the 10-meter green belt extension of Chengde Road and Fuguo Road, an important location for the intersection of the cross axis green corridor, is a wetland park that balances flood retention, recreation, and ecology—Zhoumei Clam Port Park, covering an area of approximately 30,818 square meters. The park preserves the old Shuangxi River channel, maintaining the riverbank embankment as a front pool for the pumping station, providing flood retention space during flood periods, while serving as a community leisure wetland park on regular days. On the east side of the river channel, a shallow area is planned as a marsh wetland area, remaining intact and less affected by human interference, which can become a good habitat for terrestrial birds to forage and breed. Visitors can enjoy the grassland wetland ecology along the river channel and take in the magnificent mountain shapes of Qixing Mountain and the Datun Mountain Range from a distance. The park facilities include scenic walking paths, a waterfront platform, pedestrian bridges, resting pavilions, and walking loops for enjoyment and leisure. Source: Park Walkthrough.
