Zhoumei Clam Harbor Park Introduction
At the intersection of the extended section of Chengde Road and Fuguo Road, specifically at an important junction of the cross-axis green corridor, lies the Zhumi Clam Port Park, a wetland park that balances flood detention, recreation, and ecology, covering an area of approximately 30,818 square meters. The park retains the old Shuangxi River channel while preserving the riverbank protection, serving as a pump station forebay, providing a flood detention space during flood periods, while functioning as a community recreational wetland park on regular days. A shallow area is planned along the eastern side of the river channel to serve as a grass marsh habitat, left intact to minimize human interference, and providing an excellent habitat for terrestrial birds to forage and breed. Visitors can enjoy the ecological scenery of the grass marsh wetlands along the river channel while admiring the magnificent mountain shapes of Qixing Mountain and the Datun Mountain Range. The park facilities include scenic paths, waterfront platforms, pedestrian arch bridges, resting pavilions, and walking paths for leisurely strolls. Source: Park Walkthrough.
