Zhoumei Clam Port Park Introduction
The intersection of the 10-meter green belt at Chengde Road and the extended section of Fuguo Road, which is an important location for the intersection of the cross-axis green corridor, hosts a wetland park that balances flood retention, recreation, and ecology—Zhoumei Clam Harbor Park, covering an area of approximately 30,818 square meters. The park retains the old Double Stream Riverbank slope to serve as a pumping station front pool during flood periods, providing flood retention space for the area, while also functioning as a community recreational wetland park during normal days. A shallow area is planned on the eastern side of the riverbank as a grass wetland zone, kept intact to minimize human interference and serve as a great habitat for terrestrial birds to forage and breed. Visitors can appreciate the grass wetland ecology along the river while enjoying the magnificent mountain shapes of Qixing Mountain and the Datun Mountain Range in the distance. The park facilities include scenic walking paths, a waterside platform, a pedestrian arch bridge, resting pavilions, and walking trails for leisure and sightseeing.
