Tianmu Baseball Stadium Introduction
Taipei Municipal Tianmu Baseball Field is located at the intersection of Zhongcheng Road and Shidong Road in Taipei City. Construction began on March 5, 1997, and the venue was completed and opened on August 15, 1999. On September 21, 2020, artificial turf was installed, making it the first baseball field in Taiwan to use artificial turf. It has a seating capacity of 10,000. The left field is 325 feet, center field is 400 feet, and right field is 325 feet. This stadium is situated at the foot of Yangmingshan, oriented to the northeast (from home plate towards center field). From the stands directly behind home plate, spectators can enjoy views of Yangmingshan, National Chung Hsing University, and Datun Mountain. (Source: Department of Sports, Taipei City Government)
