Tianmu Sports Park Baseball Field Introduction
Taipei Municipal TienMu Baseball Stadium is located at the intersection of Zhongcheng Road and Shidong Road in Taipei City. Construction began on March 5, 1997, and it was completed and opened on August 15, 1999. On September 21, 2020, the stadium installed artificial turf, making it the first stadium in Taiwan to use artificial turf. It has a seating capacity of 10,000 spectators. The distances are 325 feet to left field, 400 feet to center field, and 325 feet to right field. The stadium is situated at the foot of Yangmingshan and is oriented to the northeast (from home plate towards center field). From the seating area directly behind home plate, visitors can enjoy views of Yangmingshan, National Cultural University, and Mount Datun. (Source: Sports Department of Taipei City Government)
