Shuangxi Park Introduction

Shuangxi Park is named after the confluence of the Outer Shuangxi and Inner Shuangxi streams, flowing from north to south and merging in Shilin. It is located at the intersection of Fulin Road and Zhishan Road, serving as a passageway from Shilin to Yangmingshan, the National Palace Museum, and both the Inner and Outer Shuangxi streams. Established in 1974, it covers an area of approximately 2 hectares and is a landscaped garden featuring natural mountain and water scenery. The park's terrain is flat and triangular, designed in the style of a Chinese garden, showcasing a natural appearance. The corridors and central pavilion of the pond, waterside pavilion, stone caves, zigzag bridge, rockery, and waterfall are interconnected throughout the park. Shuangxi Park not only possesses modern aesthetics but also retains an ancient charm, making it a tranquil and worthwhile park to visit amidst the hustle and bustle.
