Shuangxi Riverside Cycling Path Introduction

The Shuangxi River, originating from Yangmingshan National Park, flows past Soochow University before shifting to the north side of the highway, with a riverside green space park extending from there. The riverside bike path has been constructed along both banks, becoming the most closely located and well-maintained short and refined route in Taipei's river cycling network near residential areas. The picturesque banks of the Shuangxi River provide a green tunnel for busy urban dwellers to escape and rejuvenate. From the left bank of Shuangxi, it connects to the bike path on the right bank at Bailing Bridge; the right bank riverside park near Bailing Bridge is a gathering place for rugby enthusiasts and often sees football teams competing. Cyclists can also join this verdant expanse, riding all the way to under Chengde Bridge, making a stop at Taipei's last sampan dock, "San-Jiao-Du."
