Shuangxi Riverside Cycling Path Introduction
The Shuangxi River, originating from Yangmingshan National Park, flows past Soochow University, then shifts to the north side of the highway, where the riverside green space park extends. The riverside bike path has been developed on both banks, becoming the most residential-friendly and well-maintained small and exquisite route in Taipei's river cycling network. The picturesque banks of the Shuangxi River offer a green tunnel that helps the busy urban dwellers find a way to rejuvenate their weary bodies and minds. Cyclists can connect from the left bank of Shuangxi to the right bank bike path at the Bailing Bridge. The riverside park on the right bank of Bailing Bridge is a gathering spot for rugby enthusiasts, and soccer teams can often be seen competing. Cyclists can also join the expansive grassy area, riding all the way to under Chengde Bridge, with a detour to visit the last sampan dock in Taipei, "Sanjiao Crossing."
