Shuangxi Riverside Cycling Path Introduction
The Shuangxi River, originating from Yangmingshan National Park, flows past Soochow University before shifting to the north side of the highway. This is where the riverside green space park extends, and the riverside bicycle path has been constructed along both banks, becoming a short and well-maintained route in Taipei's river cycling network that is closest to residential areas. The picturesque banks of the Shuangxi River offer busy urban dwellers a green tunnel to relieve their tired bodies and minds. From the left bank of Shuangxi, one can connect to the right bank bicycle path at the Bailin Bridge. The riverside park on the right bank of Bailin Bridge serves as a gathering place for rugby enthusiasts and is often frequented by soccer teams competing against each other. Cyclists can also enjoy this grassy area, cycling all the way to the Chengde Bridge, while making a stop at Taipei's last small boat dock, "Sanjiao Ferry."
