Lishan Farmers' Plaza - Lishan Park Introduction
At Lishan Farmers' Square in Nangang, the square’s floor is inlaid with verses from Su Shi's "Ding Feng Bo," a renowned literary work from the Northern Song Dynasty, filling the area with a literary atmosphere. This place once served as a academy during the Japanese colonial period, where local children studied. After a landslide disaster, it fell into disrepair for many years, but the land has been improved in line with agricultural community environmental rehabilitation efforts. It incorporates elements such as a Japanese-style pavilion, bald cypress trees, and landscape stones, recreating the imagery of the early academy and shaping a unique recreational square environment. Across from Lishan Farmers' Square is the Sifeng Creek, known for successful fish protection efforts. Visitors can also take a stroll along the heart-shaped stepping stones and the creekside trails, listening to the gentle sound of the water while admiring the beauty of the bald cypress trees. This is an ideal spot for a leisure holiday to experience the magical atmosphere of the bald cypress and the romance of the heart-shaped stepping stones. If you're interested in the story of fish protection in Sifeng Creek, feel free to contact the Jiuju Community Development Association to arrange an ecological tour, and enjoy the natural ambiance along with a fun educational trip.
