Lishan Farmers' Square_Lishan Park Introduction

At Lishan Farmers' Square in Nangang, you'll find the ground embedded with verses from Su Shi's "Ding Feng Bo," a literary creation from the Northern Song Dynasty, creating a rich cultural atmosphere. This area used to be a study hall during the Japanese colonial period, where local children would read and learn. However, after a collapse disaster, it fell into disrepair for many years. The land has been reformed to address environmental improvements in the agricultural community, incorporating elements such as a Japanese-style pavilion, bald cypress trees, and landscape stones, evoking the imagery of the early study hall and creating a uniquely styled recreational square. Directly across from Lishan Farmers' Square is the restored Sigun Creek, which has successful fish conservation efforts. Visitors can leisurely stroll along the heart-shaped stepping stones and the riverside walkway, listening to the gentle flow of the creek while enjoying the scenic beauty of the bald cypress trees. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing holiday, allowing you to experience the secret realm of the bald cypress and the romantic atmosphere of the heart-shaped stepping stones. If you're interested in the story of fish conservation in Sigun Creek, feel free to contact the Jiu Ru Community Development Association to arrange an ecological tour for a refreshing and educational little trip into nature.
