Lishan Farmers' Plaza - Lishan Park Introduction
At Lishan Farmers' Plaza in Nangang, you can see that the plaza's floor is embedded with lines from the "Ding Feng Bo" poem by the Northern Song literary giant Su Shi, which fills the area with a literary atmosphere. This place was originally a school during the Japanese colonial period, where local children studied. However, it fell into disrepair due to a landslide disaster and remained neglected for many years. The local government has since improved the environment of the old landslide area, integrating elements such as a Japanese-style pavilion, bald cypress trees, and landscape stones to recreate the essence of the early academy, thus shaping a unique and stylish recreational space. Across from Lishan Farmers' Plaza is the Sifeng Creek, which has been successfully restored to protect fish populations. Visitors can also stroll along the heart-shaped stepping stones and the creekside path, listening to the gentle sound of the flowing water while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the bald cypress trees. This location is ideal for a leisurely holiday visit to experience the enchanting ambiance of the bald cypress forest and the romance of the heart-shaped stepping stones. If you're interested in the story of the fish protection efforts in Sifeng Creek, you are welcome to contact the Jiuru Community Development Association to arrange an ecological tour and immerse yourself in nature while enjoying an educational and fun little trip.
