Lishan Farmers' Square_Lishan Park Introduction

At Lishan Farmers' Square in Nangang, the square's floor is inlaid with verses from Su Shi's poem "Ding Feng Bo" from the Northern Song Dynasty, infused with a literary atmosphere. This area used to be a study hall during the Japanese occupation, where local schoolchildren would study. After a landslide disaster, it remained abandoned for many years and lost its original appearance. The Land Office has improved the old landslide area in line with the agricultural community, integrating elements such as a Japanese-style pavilion, bald cypress trees, and landscape stones to create the imagery of an erstwhile study hall, shaping a uniquely styled recreational square environment. Right across from Lishan Farmers' Square is the Sifeng Stream, which has been successfully protected for fish breeding. Visitors can also take a leisurely stroll along the heart-shaped stepping stones and the streamside trails, listening to the babbling stream while enjoying the beauty of the bald cypress trees, making it suitable for a relaxing holiday trip. Feel free to immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of the bald cypress sanctuary and the romance of the heart-shaped stepping stones. If you are interested in the stories of the fish conservation efforts at Sifeng Stream, you are welcome to contact the Jiuru Community Development Association to arrange an ecological tour, experiencing the breath of nature while enjoying an educational and entertaining mini-trip.
