Lishan Farmers' Square_Lishan Park Introduction
At Lishan Farmers' Square in Nangang, you can see the floor of the plaza inlaid with verses from the "Ding Feng Po" by the Northern Song literary giant Su Shi, filling the area with a literary atmosphere. This place used to be a school during the Japanese colonial period, where nearby students would come to study. However, after a collapse disaster occurred, it was abandoned for many years and lost its original appearance. The area has now been improved in accordance with the agriculture community's environmental management, integrating elements like a Japanese-style pavilion, bald cypress trees, and landscape stones to create an image reminiscent of the former school, shaping a uniquely styled recreational square. Across from Lishan Farmers' Square is the successful fish protection area of the Sifeng River, where visitors can also take a leisurely stroll along the twin-heart-shaped stepping stones and riverside paths, listening to the gentle murmur of the water while enjoying the beautiful bald cypress scenery. It's a great place for a relaxing weekend visit, allowing one to experience the enchanting scenery of bald cypress and the romantic atmosphere of the twin-heart stepping stones. If you are interested in the story of the fish protection in the Sifeng River, you are welcome to contact the Jiuru Community Development Association to arrange an ecological tour, experiencing the breath of nature and a fun little trip.
