Zhilan Park Sea Viewing Platform Introduction
The Zhilan Park Seaside Viewing Platform, renowned as "the most beautiful runway on the North Coast," was completed in August 2021, welcoming visitors with a fresh appearance. Travelers can walk along the water-blue wave-shaped corridor, feeling as if they are stepping into the sea, enjoying a panoramic 360-degree view of the stunning ocean and sunset. The romantic installation art at the platform's end has become a must-visit photo spot for couples and tourists. The Zhilan Park Seaside Viewing Platform was originally a famous tourist site in Sanzhi, but it was closed for many years due to severe coastal erosion, which deemed it a dangerous building. The newly rebuilt seaside viewing platform is constructed atop the original platform's base, featuring a 57-meter-long water-blue corridor, with a giant sparkling wedding ring at the end. Created by local artists and the city government’s professional team, this installation art symbolizes "fate, unity, and the shape of the ring." Its main color reflects the ocean, echoing the magnificent sea view, and its rhythmic design adds a dynamic aspect to the North Coast's scenery. The newly renovated seaside viewing platform connects to the Zhilan Park Trail, allowing visitors to walk for about 5 minutes along the trail to the Shallow Bay Coastal Park, where they can enjoy splashing in the water and leisurely moments on summer days. Alternatively, they can relax at a café listening to the sea, savoring afternoon tea while taking in the morning and evening beauty of the North Coast, or visit various romantic spots along the North Coast, composing a sweet journey with partners, beginning with "The Love Boat in Bali, The Lover's Bridge in Tamsui, The Sanzhi Seaside Platform, and The Happiness Bell in Shimen."
