Zhilan Park Seaside Viewing Platform Introduction
The Zhilan Park Seaside Viewing Platform, known as the "Most Beautiful Catwalk of the North Coast," was completed in August 2021 and welcomes visitors with a brand new appearance. Travelers can walk along the wave-shaped, water-blue corridor that seems to lead them into the sea, offering a 360-degree unobstructed view to admire the stunning ocean scenery and the hues of sunset. The platform features a romantic installation art piece at its end, making it a must-visit spot for couples and tourists alike. Originally a popular tourist attraction in Sanzhi, the Zhilan Park Seaside Viewing Platform was closed for many years due to severe coastal erosion, which deemed the original structure dangerous. The newly reconstructed viewing platform is built on the original platform's foundation, featuring a 57-meter long water-blue corridor that culminates in a massive, sparkling wedding ring created by local artists in collaboration with the municipal government. This installation art symbolizes the ideas of destiny, unity, and the form of a ring, harmonizing with the vastness of the ocean, and its dynamic shape adds beauty to the North Coast's landscape. The newly rebuilt seaside viewing platform connects to the Zhilan Park Trail, allowing visitors to walk about five minutes to the Qianshui Bay Coastal Park, where they can enjoy splashing in the water and leisurely moments on hot summer days. They can also sit in a café to listen to the sea and enjoy afternoon tea while taking in the breathtaking views of the North Coast’s dawn and dusk. For couples, it offers a chance to visit various romantic spots across the North Coast and create a sweet journey: "Our First Encounter at Bali Love Boat, Romantic Moments at Tamsui Lover Bridge, Commitment at Sanzhi Seaside Platform, Engagement at Shimen Happiness Bell."
