Zhi Lan Park Seaside Viewing Platform Introduction
The Zhilan Park seaside viewing platform, renowned as "the most beautiful runway on the North Coast," was completed in August 2021 and welcomes visitors with a brand new look. Travelers can walk along the water-blue wave corridor, seemingly stepping into the sea, enjoying a panoramic 360-degree view of the stunning ocean scenery and sunset glow. With the romantic installation art at the end of the platform, it has become a must-visit spot for couples on dates and tourists to take photos. Originally a famous tourist destination in Sanzi, the Zhilan Park seaside viewing platform was closed for many years after being deemed a dangerous structure due to severe coastal erosion. The newly reconstructed seaside viewing platform is built on the original platform's base, featuring a 57-meter long water-blue corridor, culminating in an oversized shimmering wedding ring. Created by local artists and the city government's professional team, the installation art symbolizes “bonding, unity, and form,” using the ocean as the main color, echoing the magnificent seascape. Its dynamic shape adds to the beautiful scenery of the North Coast. The newly rebuilt seaside viewing platform connects to the Zhilan Park trail, allowing visitors to walk about 5 minutes along the trail to the Shallow Water Bay Coastal Park, where they can enjoy splashing in the water and leisurely moments during the hot summer days. They can also relax at a café, listening to the ocean and enjoying afternoon tea, taking in the morning and evening beauty of the North Coast. Furthermore, visitors can connect various romantic spots along the North Coast, creating a sweet itinerary such as "first encounter at Bali's Love Boat, romantic moments at Tamsui Lovers' Bridge, engagement at Sanzi Seaside Platform, and happiness at Shimen's Bell of Happiness," for a delightful journey with their partners.
