Jinguangliao River Bicycle Path Introduction
The Jinguoliao Creek Cycling Path can be divided into two sections: from the Waterfront Suspension Bridge to the Jinxi Police Station, and from the Jinxi Police Station to the endpoint at the Jiuxiugen Waterfront Park, with a total round trip length of approximately 22.1 kilometers. The outbound journey includes uphill sections, so it is recommended to prepare water, snacks, and other supplies before setting off. The Jinguoliao Creek Cycling Path is accompanied by the winding scenery of Jinguoliao Creek, passing through the separated Fish Viewing Cycling Path, allowing cyclists to ride without worrying about vehicle traffic. Continuing ahead, one will encounter the Jinguoliao Bicycle Park, the picturesque tea plantation villages, and the Jinguoliao Fish Fern Trail. Among these, the Jinguoliao Fish Fern Trail is a popular spot for many to cool off and play in the water during the summer, known for its tranquil atmosphere, rich fern ecology on the rock walls, and the abundance of fish in the creek. It was recommended as a must-visit mountain trail for travelers by Lonely Planet in 2017. The entire cycling path route is: Pinglin Waterfront Suspension Bridge (Pinglin Visitor Center) → Fish Viewing Cycling Path Monument → Jinguoliao Bicycle Park → Jinxi Police Station → North Entrance of Jinguoliao Fish Viewing Trail → Jiuxiugen Waterfront Park.
