Jinguanyao Stream Bicycle Path Introduction
The Jinguanyiao River Cycling Path can be divided into two sections: from the riverside suspension bridge to the Jinxi Police Station, and from the Jinxi Police Station to the endpoint at Jiuqiugen Riverside Park, with a round trip of about 22.1 kilometers. The outbound route includes uphill sections, so it is recommended to prepare water and snacks before setting off. The Jinguanyiao River Cycling Path runs alongside the winding Jinguanyiao River, passing through a fish-viewing bicycle path that separates pedestrians from vehicles, allowing cyclists to enjoy their ride without worrying about traffic. Continuing on, you will encounter the Jinguanyiao Iron Horse New Paradise, the scenery of tea plantation villages, and the Jinguanyiao Fish Fern Trail. Among these, the Jinguanyiao Fish Fern Trail is a popular destination for many during summer to cool off and play in the water, characterized by a serene atmosphere, rich fern ecology on the cliffs, and abundant fish in the stream. This trail was recommended by Lonely Planet in 2017 as a must-visit hiking trail. The complete route of the cycling path is as follows: Pinglin Riverside Suspension Bridge (Pinglin Visitor Center) → Fish Viewing Bicycle Path Monument → Jinguanyiao Iron Horse New Paradise → Jinxi Police Station → North Entrance of Jinguanyiao Fish Viewing Trail → Jiuqiugen Riverside Park.
