Jinguangliao Riverside Bicycle Path Introduction
Jinguayiao Creek Bicycle Path can be divided into two sections: from the Waterside Suspension Bridge to the Jinxi Police Station, and from the Jinxi Police Station to the endpoint at Jiuqiugeng Waterside Park, with a round-trip distance of approximately 22.1 kilometers. The outbound journey includes uphill sections, so it is recommended to prepare water, snacks, and other necessities before setting off. Along the Jinguayiao Creek Bicycle Path, cyclists can enjoy the winding scenery of Jinguayiao Creek, passing through the separated Fish Watching Bicycle Path, allowing travelers to cycle without worrying about traffic. Continuing onwards, cyclists will pass by the Jinguayiao Iron Horse New Paradise, the scenic tea garden village, and the Jinguayiao Fish Fern Trail, which is a popular spot for many to cool off in the summer. The tranquil atmosphere, the rich fern ecology on the rock walls, and the abundant fish in the creek have earned it a recommendation in 2017 by Lonely Planet as a must-visit hillside trail. The complete route of the Bicycle Path is as follows: Pinglin Waterside Suspension Bridge (Pinglin Visitor Center) → Fish Watching Bicycle Path Monument → Jinguayiao Iron Horse New Paradise → Jinxi Police Station → Northern Entrance of Jinguayiao Fish Fern Trail → Jiuqiugeng Waterside Park.
