Beishi River Bicycle Path Introduction
The Beishi River Bicycle Path has been voted as the most beautiful and shortest bicycle path in northern Taiwan, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenic views of the Beishi River and the surrounding tea plantations. It is approximately 2.3 kilometers long. The entrance to the path is located about 1 kilometer along Ping-Shuang Highway (under the elevated bridge at the Pinglin Interchange next to the Pinglin Control Center). You can walk along the wide bicycle path and pedestrian walkway that runs alongside the banks of the Xiaokengzi River, with informational signs along the way introducing common local birds and fish species. The endpoints of the bicycle path and walkway are at the Chaxiangdi Campground, with a one-way walk from Xiaokengzi River to Chaxiangdi taking about 40 minutes.
