金溪駐在所外觀

Pinglin is a well-known tea township in northern Taiwan, rich in natural resources and with old houses quietly recording the cultural stories of the area. During the Japanese colonial period, in order to maintain public order, tax collection, and monitor resistance, the Japanese established a police station here, which has a history of over a hundred years. Now transformed into a private residence, the Jinxi Police Station has only slightly shifted the main entrance to the left, while the stone bricks, black tiles, and architectural style still retain the original Japanese flavor, rustic yet elegant, giving a faint impression of the former police station's authority. The Jinxi Police Station is located next to Jinxi No. 1 Bridge, with a sign marking "Old Police Station from the Japanese Colonial Period" erected at the entrance of the alley, accessible from the side of Jinxi No. 1 Bridge.
