Pinglin Suspension Bridge Introduction
The Aquatic Suspension Bridge located in the Pinglin District of New Taipei City is at the end of the Pinglin Image Business District. You can enter the Aquatic Suspension Bridge from the steps under the archway next to the gas station. The original concept behind the Pinglin Aquatic Suspension Bridge is "The Twin Dragons Embrace, Blessing Pinglin." The bridge spans the Beishi River, measuring approximately 60 meters in length and 2 meters in width, linking the fish-viewing trails on both sides of the river and connecting attractions such as the Pinglin Tea Museum, the Pinglin Suspension Bridge, and the Image Business District. This spot also offers the best vantage point for observing fish swimming below; from above, one can see the shimmering fish schools, with such density that it draws admiration. It has now become a must-visit place for tourists. The success of Pinglin's aquatic conservation efforts is truly remarkable, and many visitors bring fish food and bread to toss into the water for the fish. While the local government does not prohibit this, it is important to remind tourists not to throw garbage into the river, as it not only pollutes the water source but could also be harmful if ingested by the fish.
