Pinglin Riverside Suspension Bridge Introduction
The Shuinan Suspension Bridge, located in the Pinglin District of New Taipei City, is situated at the end of the Pinglin Image Business District. Visitors can enter the bridge via the steps next to the gas station under the archway. The original concept for the Pinglin Shuinan Suspension Bridge is "Double Dragons Embrace, Blessing Pinglin." The bridge spans the Beishi River, measuring approximately 60 meters in length and 2 meters in width, connecting fishing trails on both sides of the river and linking attractions such as the Pinglin Tea Museum, Pinglin Suspension Bridge, and the Image Business District. This location also serves as one of the best vantage points for observing the fish swimming in the water below. From above, one can see the shimmering fish schools beneath the bridge, with their high density often surprising visitors. It has now become a must-visit spot for tourists. The successful conservation efforts in Pinglin have proven remarkable, as many visitors bring fish food and bread to toss into the water for the fish. Although the local government does not prohibit this, it's important to remind visitors not to litter in the river, as it not only pollutes the water source but also poses a risk to the fish if ingested.
