Pinglin Old Street Introduction
Pingshin Old Street is approximately 200 meters long, centered around the local spiritual hub, Baoping Temple. Along the street, visitors can find paper-making shops, snack stalls selling tofu, hardware stores, and tea houses, including the famous "Pingshin Baozhong Tea." The shops on Old Street combine Pingshin's tea culture, creating various creative snacks using Baozhong tea, such as tea rice cakes, tea buns, tea nougat, and tea oil noodles. Additionally, Pingshin's tofu is well-known, made with local spring water, resulting in sweet and delicious tofu dishes. When visiting Pingshin Old Street, be sure to try the tea-infused dishes and tofu, which will certainly satisfy your appetite. Starting from Pingshin Old Street and moving forward, you will pass by Pingshin Elementary School and the spiritual center of the Pingshin people, Baoping Temple. Notably, due to the strong aroma of tea wafting through the Old Street, many swallows have come to roost, and one can see swallows' nests in almost all the surrounding houses, surpassing the local human population and earning the title of a "Swallow City."
