Pinglin District in New Taipei City is famous for its Paochong tea, with its ancient streets infused with the fragrance of tea leaves. Here, you can not only explore the history of the mountainous city but also appreciate Eastern tea culture. The Luguang Farm in Pinglin District uses entirely organic cultivation for its tea garden, producing varieties that include health-beneficial green tea and Jiaye Long tea, elegant and fragrant Wenshan Paochong tea, smooth oolong tea, honey-scented Dongfang Meiren tea, and the most commonly consumed black tea. At Luguang Farm, you can taste meticulously crafted green tea, black tea, oolong tea, Paochong tea, and Dongfang Meiren tea. You can also make a reservation in advance for tea picking and tea-making experiences. The owner has also planted various plants in the tea garden, attracting many insects and birds, and you can observe the ecology of the jade tree frogs.
