Dalisi King of Trees Temple Introduction

The tree's main body is a mangrove tree. There is a folk story in the local lore about Emperor Jiaqing's travels in Taiwan. The story goes that while Emperor Jiaqing was passing by this large tree, he was attacked by bandits, and a mysterious figure in red descended from the tree to fend off the attackers. Another version of the story states that Emperor Jiaqing once took shelter from the rain under this tree, which has led to the tree being honored as "Tree King." Additionally, due to its lush foliage resembling an umbrella, it is also known as the "Umbrella Tree King."
