Douliu Men Shouten Temple Introduction
The Street Mazu Temple was built in 1722 and is the oldest Mazu temple on Douliu Street, often referred to in conjunction with Yongfu Temple as "Street Mazu Temple and Street Guanyin Pavilion." It is dedicated to the Heavenly Mother. The Mazu statues inside the temple hold a report board, symbolizing that "the living can convey their petitions to the Jade Emperor through her, who then decides the outcomes," which is considered one of its unique features.
