The Xiluo Gongxiao Temple, known for enshrining Zhongkui, has a legendary history. Over a hundred years ago, the houses in Xinchuzhuang frequently caught fire for no reason. The villagers invited the older lady from the Xiluo Guangfu Temple to observe and inquire about the matter. Following her instructions, it was revealed that this village was a "Hōnglú Qíxué" (a mysterious spot) and that they needed to worship the Fumo Dadi (the Great Emperor of Subduing Demons) to avert disasters and misfortunes.

The Xiluo Gongxiao Palace in Huoluqi Temple is dedicated to the deity Zhong Kui, and its origins are quite legendary. Over a hundred years ago, the houses in the Xinzhou community frequently caught fire for no reason. Villagers invited the elder lady from the Xiluo Guangfu Temple to come and inquire about the situation. Under her guidance, it was revealed that the area was a "Huoluqi Cave" and needed to be dedicated to the Demon-Subduing Emperor in order to fend off disasters and hardships.
