Xiluo Xincuo Gongxiao Temple of the Demon-Subduing Emperor Introduction
The Holoqi Temple, also known as the Xiluo Gongxiao Palace, enshrines Zhong Kui. Its origin is quite legendary. More than a century ago, houses in the Xin Zhu Village frequently caught fire for no apparent reason. The villagers invited the matriarch of the Xiluo Guangfu Temple to come and inquire. According to her instructions, this village was a "Holoqi site," and it was necessary to worship the Demon Subduing Emperor to dispel disasters and misfortunes.
