Hung Lu Qi Temple, also known as Xiluo Gongxiao Temple, is dedicated to Lord Zhong Kui. Its origin is quite legendary. Over a hundred years ago, houses in the Xinzhai Village frequently caught fire for no reason. The villagers invited the matriarch of Xiluo Guangfu Temple to come and inquire about the situation. Following her guidance, it was indicated that this village was a "Hung Lu Qi Cave," and it was necessary to worship the Demon Subduing Emperor to quell disasters and remove misfortunes.

The Xiluo Gongxiao Temple in Hsiluo is dedicated to the deity Zhong Kui. Its origin is quite legendary. Over a century ago, houses in the newly established Zhung Village frequently caught fire for no apparent reason. The villagers invited the elder lady from the Xiluo Guangfu Temple to come and consult through a ritual. Following her instructions, it was revealed that this village was a "magical furnace site" and that the deity Fumo Dadi needed to be worshipped in order to avert disasters and misfortunes.
