Xiluo Xincuo Gongxiao Temple, Veneration of the Great Deity of Exorcism Introduction

The Xiluo Gongxiao Temple, known for enshrining Zhong Kui, has a legendary origin. More than a hundred years ago, the homes in the Xinzhuang village frequently caught fire for no apparent reason. The villagers invited an elder from the Xiluo Guangfu Temple to inquire about the situation. The elder indicated that this village was a "Furnace Wonder Cave" and that they needed to worship the Demon-Suppressing Emperor to ward off disasters and resolve misfortunes.
