The Hung Lu Qi Temple in Xiluo, dedicated to the deity Zhong Kui, has a legendary origin. Over a hundred years ago, the houses in Xinzhuozhuang frequently caught fire for no apparent reason. The villagers invited the elder matron from Xiluo Guangfu Temple to consult on the matter. Following the matron's instructions, it was determined that this location was a "Hung Lu Qi Cave," and that they needed to enshrine the Emperor of Exorcism to dispel disasters and alleviate misfortunes.

Hung Lu Qi Temple, also known as Xiluo Gongxiaogong, enshrines Zhong Kui. The origin of this temple is quite legendary. Over a hundred years ago, houses in the Xinchu Village frequently caught fire for no apparent reason. Villagers invited the matriarch from Xiluo Guangfu Temple to inquire about the matter. After the matriarch's consultation, she indicated that this village was a "Hung Lu Qi Hole" and that the Emperor of Exorcising Evil must be worshipped to avert disasters and alleviations.
