Xiaonan Potzi Temple Introduction
The Guanyin Bodhisattva, who hears the prayers of all beings, is situated in Xiayan Li, where the main deity is Guanyin. During the Qing Dynasty, the sincere devotion of the disciples moved the Buddha, leading to the invitation for the Buddha to reside in Xiayan Li from the Lushan Rock Temple. The temple has been established for nearly a century. Over the past century, the people of Xiayan have turned to this temple for guidance on various matters, including weddings, funerals, celebrations, seeking cures, and moving into a new home. It serves as a spiritual base for the village and is a shared memory of the locals.
