Gouzao Zhan Shen God Gouzao Zhenwu Temple is dedicated to the North Emperor Xuantian and the two generals Kang and Zhao (the two spirits of the turtle and snake). The temple was built in the early Qing dynasty, and its history spans over two hundred years. Gouzao Village is primarily inhabited by the Qiyang Cai clan. In earlier years, there was a violent conflict between the Wu and Cai clans of Beigang, and the deity was said to have manifested to assist the Cai clan.

The Gouzao Zhan Shen Temple, also known as the Gouzao Zhenwu Temple, is dedicated to the worship of Beiji Xuantian Shangdi and the two generals, Kang and Zhao (the Tortoise and Snake spirits). It was established in the early Qing Dynasty and has a history of over two hundred years. Gouzao Village is primarily inhabited by the Cai clan from Qingyang, and in the past, there were violent conflicts between the Wu and Cai clans from Beigang. The deity has reportedly provided divine assistance to the Cai clan.
