Wannian Park & Jianguo Bridge Stone Monkey Introduction

Walking across the Jian Guo Bridge to Zili Road, a giant globe stands majestically at the intersection, facing the Wannian River, attracting everyone's attention from afar. This is the symbol of Wannian Park. The park is filled with green spaces resembling a lush green carpet, along with several horizontal bars and swings, as well as a stone path circling the park. Local residents often bring their children here for recreation and exercise. The park features two artificial ponds of different sizes, which are home to various aquatic plants such as duckweed and lotus flowers. There is a small bridge over the larger pond, and a wooden platform by the smaller pond, providing opportunities to observe the aquatic ecosystem up close. The ten stone monkey statues on Jian Guo Bridge are lively and realistic, created by invited artists to commemorate the 168th anniversary of the founding of the city of Acon in 93. They convey ten meanings: the three gentlemen, looking forward, the scent of bananas, bestowing titles, rising step by step, enjoyment, cuddling, joy from children, warmth and affection, and double happiness arriving, symbolizing harmony and perfection.
