Yangmingshan Xinhai Restoration Building Introduction
One of the landmarks of Yangmingshan Park, the Hsin-hai Restoration Pavilion, is nestled in dense woods. It is an opulently designed two-story building in traditional Chinese style, built in the 60th year of the Republic of China to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Wuchang Uprising. Located in the center of Yangmingshan Park, it serves as an ideal spot for relaxation and offers stunning views of the Taipei Basin. The pond in front of the pavilion is home to various colorful koi, and the balcony above provides a favorite feeding spot for children. The Chinese-style architecture is decorated with intricate beams and paintings, exuding a sense of antiquity and elegance, filled with many stories and clever designs. Inside the pavilion, there is a souvenir shop. During the flower season, the area surrounding the pavilion is adorned with vibrant cherry blossoms, making for a delightful experience while strolling under the corridors, enjoying the interplay of clouds and flowers.
