Yangmingshan Xinhai Restoration Building Introduction
One of the landmarks of Yangming Park, the Xinhai Restoration Pavilion, is hidden amidst dense forests. It is a luxurious two-story building with traditional Chinese architectural style, constructed in 1971 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution. Located in the center of Yangming Park, it is the best spot for relaxation and enjoying a panoramic view of the Taipei Basin. The pond in front of the pavilion is home to various colorful koi fish, and the balcony above offers a favorite feeding spot for children. The design features intricate Chinese-style eaves and decorations, embodying elegance and sophistication, with many historical anecdotes and thoughtful design elements. Inside the pavilion, there is a souvenir shop. During the cherry blossom season, the area around the pavilion is adorned with vibrant cherry blossoms, and taking a stroll along the corridor to admire the flowers while watching the mist dance with the blossoms is a beautiful experience.
