Yangmingshan Xinhai Guangfu Pavilion Introduction
One of the landmarks in Yangming Park, the Xinhai Guangfu Pavilion, is nestled among dense forests. It is a grand two-story building in traditional Chinese style, built in the 60th year of the Republic of China to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution. Located in the center of Yangming Park, it is an ideal spot for relaxation and offers a panoramic view of the Taipei Basin. In front of the pavilion, a pond is home to various colorful koi fish, and the balcony above provides a favorite feeding spot for children. The Chinese-style design features intricately carved beams and painted rafters, exuding an antique elegance filled with numerous historical anecdotes and thoughtful details. Inside the Guangfu Pavilion, there is a shop selling local souvenirs. During the flowering season, the areas surrounding the pavilion are filled with vibrant cherry blossoms, making it a delightful experience to stroll under the corridors, watching the clouds play with the flowers in the breeze, creating a beautiful scene to enjoy.
