Yangmingshan Xinhai Restoration Pavilion Introduction
One of the landmarks of Yangmingshan Park is the Xinhai Restoration Pavilion, hidden in a dense forest. It is a magnificent two-story building in traditional Chinese style, constructed in the 60th year of the Republic of China to commemorate the centennial of the Xinhai Revolution. Located at the center of Yangmingshan Park, it serves as the best place for relaxation and to gaze at the Taipei Basin. A pond in front of the pavilion is home to various colored koi fish, and the balcony above is a favorite spot for children to feed the fish. The structure features an elegant and classic Chinese-style design with intricate carvings and decorations that embody many anecdotes and clever ideas. Inside the pavilion, there is a gift shop selling souvenirs. During the flowering season, the area around the pavilion is adorned with vibrant cherry blossoms, making it a delightful experience to stroll through the corridors, enjoying the flowers while watching the mist play with the blossoms.
