Yangmingshan Xinhai Memorial Building Introduction
One of the landmarks in Yangmingshan Park, the Xinhai Restoration Pavilion, is hidden in the dense forest. It is a splendid two-story building in Chinese style, built in 1971 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution. Located in the center of Yangmingshan Park, it is the best spot for leisure and enjoying the views of the Taipei Basin. The pond in front of the pavilion is home to various colorful koi fish, and the balcony above offers a favorite fish-feeding spot for children. The Chinese-style design features intricate carvings and elegant decor, rich with historical anecdotes and thoughtful details. Within the pavilion, there is a souvenir shop. During the cherry blossom season, the area around the pavilion is adorned with vibrant cherry blossoms. Strolling through the corridor to admire the flowers and watching the clouds play with the blossoms is a beautiful experience.
