Yangmingshan Xinhai Guangfu Building Introduction
One of the landmarks of Yangming Park, the Xinhai Restoration Pavilion, is nestled in dense woods. It is a lavish two-story building in a Chinese style, built in the 60th year of the Republic of China to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Xinhai Uprising. Located in the center of Yangming Park, it is the best place to relax and enjoy a distant view of the Taipei Basin. The pond in front of the building is home to various colorful koi fish, and the balcony above offers a favorite spot for children to feed the fish. The Chinese-style design features exquisite beams and painted rafters, presenting an elegant and ancient atmosphere, rich with many historical allusions and thoughtful details. Inside the pavilion, there is a gift shop. During the cherry blossom season, the area around the pavilion is filled with vibrant cherry blossoms, creating a beautiful scene to enjoy while strolling under the corridors, gazing at the clouds and flowers dancing in the breeze.
