Yangmingshan National Park Introduction

Yangmingshan National Park is the closest national park to the metropolitan area of Taiwan. Here, the landscape is diverse and the ecology is rich, nurturing many precious conservation species. If you're lucky, you might spot the Taiwan Blue Magpie, a bird endemic to Taiwan. The park is filled with various flowers, including plum, cherry, peach, apricot, azalea, and camellia. Every spring, the cherry blossoms bloom, attracting a large crowd to the mountains to enjoy the flowers. After the cherry blossom season, around mid-March, the calla lilies in Zhuzihu begin to bloom, providing visitors with a chance to experience flower picking fun and take a bouquet of calla lilies home, becoming a must-do activity for tourists. One of the most representative features of the park is a flower clock made up of various seasonal flowers; you definitely need to take a picture here when you visit Yangmingshan! In addition to the flower clock, popular attractions include Xiaoyoukeng, Yangming Shuwu, Lengshuikeng, and Qingtian Gang. If you enjoy hiking and nature walks, these spots are not to be missed. Furthermore, the Yangmingshan area boasts rich geothermal resources, with various hot springs offering different water qualities. In the Beitou area, you will find numerous hot spring restaurants along Yiheng Road. If you travel through this area, don't forget to enjoy the unique sulfur hot springs here! Enjoy flower viewing in spring, escape the summer heat, admire the miscanthus and maple leaves in autumn, and soak in hot springs in winter. Each season in Yangmingshan offers different beautiful sights and pleasures waiting for you to discover!
