Yangmingshan National Park Introduction

Yangmingshan National Park is the closest national park to urban areas in Taiwan. Its diverse terrain and rich ecosystems nurture many precious conservation species. If you're lucky, you might spot the indigenous bird species – the Taiwanese Blue Magpie – here. The park is filled with a wide variety of flowers including plum, cherry, peach, apricot, rhododendron, and camellia. Every spring, the cherry blossoms bloom, attracting many visitors to the mountains for flower viewing. After the cherry blossom season, around mid-March, the calla lilies in Zhuzihu come into bloom, and experiencing flower picking in the fields, taking a bouquet of calla lilies home becomes a must-do for tourists. The most representative feature of the park is a flower clock composed of various seasonal flowers. When you visit Yangmingshan, you have to take a photo here! In addition to the flower clock, Yangmingshan also has popular attractions such as Xiaoyoukeng, Yangming Shuwu, Lengshuikeng, and Qingtian Gang. If you enjoy hiking, these spots are not to be missed. Furthermore, the Yangmingshan area is rich in geothermal resources, and the quality of hot springs varies from place to place. The hot spring restaurants along Yingyi Road in the Beitou area are numerous, so if you pass through here, don’t forget to enjoy the unique sulfur hot springs! In spring, enjoy flower viewing; in summer, escape the heat; in autumn, experience the miscanthus and maple leaves; and in winter, relax in the hot springs. Each season in Yangmingshan offers different beautiful scenery and pleasures waiting for you to discover!
