Xiyu Chixi Humu Hu Introduction
The Tiger Eye Fish Weir is formed by basalt stones and consists of a gentle arc that shimmers like the eyes of the ocean. This beautiful arc quietly resides on the seabed, appearing only during low tide. The Tiger Eye Fish Weir is located at the end of the coastal intertidal zone. Between two stone embankments lies a heart-shaped fish weir house, where fish will swim in during high tide and become trapped inside after the tide recedes. Fishermen can then come to this spot during low tide to catch their harvest, demonstrating the traditional wisdom of the people of Penghu. Note: This attraction is on private land; please obtain the owner's consent before entering to avoid infringing on their rights, and be mindful of tidal times to ensure your safety.
