Xiyu Chixi Humu Hu Introduction
Huliao Pool is composed of a basalt stone structure that forms an arc, shimmering like the eyes of the ocean. The beautiful arc quietly rests underwater, only appearing during low tide. The Pool is located at the end of the intertidal zone on the western coast. Between two stone embankments lies a heart-shaped fishing house, where fish swim in during high tide and get trapped inside as the tide recedes. Fishermen can then come to harvest their catch once the tide goes out, showcasing the traditional wisdom of the early Penghu people. Note: This attraction is located on private land and property.
