Big Head Drum Pavilion Introduction

A new type of band was formed using "large drums, a set of bills, and a suona," resulting in the creation of the "Drum Pavilion Formation" for easier movement on countryside paths. The wooden drum pavilions we commonly see today have developed from this improved form. On February 28, 1947, during the parade, the inclusion of the Chen Cai Drum Pavilion Formation attracted many people to join the protesting procession, making it one of the most important propaganda tools of the time.
