Big Head Drum Pavilion Introduction
The "Drum Pavilion Formation" was created by utilizing "drums, a set of notes, and a suona" to form a new type of band, which was designed for ease of movement along the rural paths. The wooden drum pavilions we commonly see today are developments of this improved form of drum pavilion. On February 28, 1947, during the day of the parade, the inclusion of the Chen Cai Drum Pavilion Formation attracted many people to join the protest, making it one of the most important propaganda tools of the time.
