A new type of band was created using "drums, cash notes, and suona," leading to the establishment of the "Drum Pavilion Formation" for easier movement along rural paths. The wooden drum pavilions we commonly see today are an evolved form of this invention. On February 28, 1947, the addition of Chen Cai’s Drum Pavilion Formation attracted many people to join the protest parade, making it one of the most important propaganda tools of the time.
