Big Head Drum Pavilion Introduction
The "Drum Pavilion Troop" was created by using "big drums, a set of banknotes, and a suona" to form a new type of band, designed for easier movement along rural pathways. The wooden drum pavilions that we commonly see today are the result of this improvement in the form of drum pavilions. On the day of the parade on February 28, 1947, the inclusion of the Chen Cai Drum Pavilion Troop attracted many people to join the protest march, making it one of the most important propaganda tools of that time.
