Taipei Memory Warehouse (Mitsui Warehouse) Introduction
The "Taipei Memory Warehouse" is a red brick building constructed during the Japanese colonial period. It is located near Beimen and Taipei Main Station, close to the Tamsui River and Dadaocheng Wharf, reflecting the prosperous trade development of Taipei at that time. The museum focuses on the theme of forestry resources and commodity trade, narrating the story of urban development and river basin context. Through the evolution of spaces from upstream to downstream, it tells how the people on the land utilized and created resources, while also providing a platform for diverse perspectives and dialogue.
