Taipei Memory Warehouse (Mitsui Warehouse) Introduction
The "Taipei Memory Warehouse" is a red brick building constructed during the Japanese colonial period. It is located near the North Gate and Taipei Main Station, close to the Tamsui River and Dadaocheng Wharf, reflecting the prosperous trade development of Taipei at that time and witnessing the transition of commercial transportation from waterways to land. The museum focuses on the theme of forest resources and commodity trade, telling the story of the context of river basins and urban development, and illustrating how people on the land have used and created resources through the spatial evolution of upstream, midstream, and downstream, while also creating a platform for diverse dialogue.
