Taipei Memory Warehouse (Mitsui Warehouse) Introduction
The "Taipei Memory Warehouse" is a red-brick building constructed during the Japanese colonial period. It is located next to North Gate and Taipei Main Station, and is close to the Tamsui River and Dadaocheng Wharf, reflecting the prosperous trade development of Taipei at that time and witnessing the transition of commercial transportation from waterways to land routes. This museum focuses on the theme of forest resources and product trade, telling the story through the context of watersheds and urban development, illustrating how people on the land have utilized and created resources through the spatial evolution of upstream, midstream, and downstream, while also creating a platform for diverse dialogues.
