Lintienshan Forestry Culture Park Introduction
Walking into the LinTianShan Forestry Cultural Park today, one can still feel the atmosphere of the former lumber mill. In addition to the rugged tracks and machinery, the wooden buildings, constructed along the mountainside, are well-preserved, showcasing a strong nostalgic Japanese charm and demonstrating a softer side of LinTianShan Lumber Mill. The Zhongshan Hall, located at the center of the park, served as a spiritual refuge for the employees of the lumber mill in earlier years and still retains two Japanese film projectors for visitors to see. Back in the day, Zhongshan Hall would screen 2 to 3 movies each week, which was a major event at the lumber mill. The announcement posted on a pink notice board often drew crowds that packed the hall to capacity. Thanks to the joint efforts of the government and cultural historians, LinTianShan has preserved a wealth of cultural resources. Not only has it retained its antique wooden buildings, railway tracks, and large machinery, but it has also established an exhibit room for forestry artifacts, serving as a testament to its historical legacy.
