Blue Tears Ecological Museum Introduction
Close Contact with Blue Tears Blue tears are the first impression many tourists have of Matsu, but they are not visible year-round. Even when the season is right, factors like weather can affect their visibility. Established in August 2018, the Matsu Blue Tears Ecology Museum is the first interactive natural heritage ecology theme museum in Matsu. In addition to static introductions to Matsu's ecology, it utilizes 4D surround virtual reality to immerse visitors, allowing for interaction with blue tears regardless of the season. The building's exterior wall near the ecology museum features vibrant 3D ocean murals. Although the area is not large, it is very beautiful. The Blue Tears Ecology Museum was originally a fishery experimental station, which was transformed into the ecology museum. It combines the marine university's cultivating technology for bioluminescent plankton, and engages in the cultivation of blue tears. Through professional guided tours, visitors can closely learn about blue tears without the limitations of seasons and weather, allowing them to see Matsu's precious natural asset—blue tears—year-round, both day and night.
