Siwei Village Introduction

Furen Village, located at the western end of Nangan, is sparsely populated. In the past, there were more than 20 households with over 100 residents. However, around 1970, like other villages, Furen Village experienced significant population outflow, which led to it gradually becoming a deserted village. This beautiful area was submerged in wild grass and weeds for nearly 20 to 30 years. Furen Village is nestled between mountains and the sea, right in front of the Fuao Harbor, which serves as a docking point for the Taima ferry and the current gathering place for the small three links. The quiet village combined with the bustling activity of visitors creates a unique scene. Additionally, when you visit Furen Village, be sure not to miss the distinctive "Furen Café," which also has a guesthouse. For backpackers unsure of where to stay, Furen Guesthouse is a good option.
