Sihwei Village Introduction
Located at the western tip of Nangan, Furen Village is sparsely populated. In the past, it had over 20 households and a population exceeding 100. However, around the 1970s, like other villages, Furen Village experienced significant population outflow, gradually turning it into an abandoned village. As a result, this beautiful bay has been submerged in overgrown weeds for nearly 20 or 30 years. Furen Village is situated between mountains and the sea, with Fuao Harbor, the current gathering point for the Small Three Links, right in front, serving as a contrast between the peaceful village and the bustling activity of visitors. Additionally, don’t forget to check out the unique "Furen Cafe," which also features accommodations. For backpackers unsure of where to stay, Furen Homestay is a great option.
