Meihe Garden Introduction
Meihe Garden is located at the entrance of the Hanbi Trail. It was established as a military outpost during Chiang Kai-shek's time at Sun Moon Lake, named after the spirit of the military police. After the 921 earthquake, the management office planned it as a scenic viewing platform. In the past, during the fireworks display near the Shuishe Wharf, Meihe Garden enjoyed a superior vantage point, making it the best spot to view the fireworks and providing visitors staying at Sun Moon Lake with an alternative nighttime leisure activity. Meihe Garden is now operated by a vendor, primarily offering a variety of dining options, and after 6 PM, it transforms into a wine bar, making it one of the best places to enjoy the lake views, whether for relaxation, chatting, or sightseeing.
