Mei He Garden Introduction
Meihe Garden is located at the entrance of the Hanbi Trail and was named after the spirit of the Military Police, as it served as a garrison for General Chiang Kai-shek during his stay at Sun Moon Lake. After the 921 earthquake, the management office planned it to become a scenic viewing platform. In the past, during fireworks displays near the Shuishe Pier, Meihe Garden held an advantageous vantage point for watching the fireworks, making it the best spot for tourists staying at Sun Moon Lake to enjoy evening leisure activities. Meihe Garden is now operated by a vendor, offering a variety of dining options, and after 6 PM, it transforms into a bistro. The indoor setting is considered one of the best spots by the lake for relaxation, conversation, and enjoying the scenery, making it an excellent choice in all respects.
