Meihe Garden Introduction
Meihe Garden is located at the entrance of the Hanbi Trail and was originally established as a guard post for President Chiang Kai-shek during his residence at Sun Moon Lake, symbolizing the spirit of the military police. After the 921 earthquake, the management office planned it to be a scenic viewpoint. In the past, when fireworks were launched near the Shuishe Pier, Meihe Garden, with its elevated position, became the best spot to enjoy the display, providing visitors staying at Sun Moon Lake with alternative nighttime recreational activities. Meihe Garden is now operated by a vendor, offering a diverse dining experience during the day, and transforming into a bar after 6 PM. The indoor area is considered one of the best places to enjoy the view by the lake, whether for relaxation, chatting, or sightseeing.
