Xiangshan Viewing Platform Introduction
Officially opened on November 9, 2014, this cantilevered observation platform stands 10 meters high and is designed to reflect the image of the "pestle" from the Shau ethnic group. Its special structure made of steel can accommodate dozens of people, showcasing the aesthetic beauty of engineering. The cantilever gradually tilts towards Sun Moon Lake from the shore, providing not only a better view but also creating an illusion of diving into the lake. The surface of the platform features a hollowed-out grid, allowing visitors to experience the thrill of walking among the treetops and over the water's surface of Sun Moon Lake, while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Lalu Island, Hanbi Peninsula, and Shuishe Dam.
