The Shuili River originates from the Sun Moon Lake, the Toushe area, the Chonggui, and the Wucheng basin mountainous regions. The valley is accessible via the Jiji Railway to the secret garden - Checheng. Checheng was once a key area for Taiwan's lumber industry.
