Sun Moon Lake Specialty Study Center (Ponia Bay) Introduction
The Sun Moon Lake Special Study Center is located within the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area and was formerly Guang Ming Elementary School. After the school was merged in 2008, the administration actively worked to revitalize the site, transforming it into the Sun Moon Lake Special Study Center. In 2023, the center was operated by the Chiai Music Culture Foundation, which has long been dedicated to arts and cultural education and promotion. It will introduce local experimental educational institutions and performing arts groups from Nantou, while also hosting experiential camps focused on living and music. The aim is to bring music, nature, and culture back to their purest forms in this serene natural environment and into everyone's lives.
