Shuili Bicycle Path - Shuili Riverside Line Introduction
The Shui Li River originates from the Sun Moon Lake, Tou She, Chong Gui, and Wu Cheng basin mountainous areas. In the valley, the Jiji Railway reaches the Secret Garden - Che Cheng. Che Cheng was once a major hub for the timber manufacturing industry in Taiwan. The bicycle path runs along the western bank of the Shui Li River upstream to Che Cheng and downstream to Shui Yun Bridge and Shui Li Riverside Park, totaling about 4 kilometers with a gentle slope in the urban riverside area. The section towards Che Cheng is slightly challenging, but riding a bicycle allows visitors to enjoy the traditional timber industry of Che Cheng, the scenic views along the Shui Li River, and experience the simple local life in Shui Li.
