Shibi Dyeing Workshop DIY Introduction
The owner of the dyeing workshop, Lin Shuli, started learning the traditional weaving techniques of the Atayal tribe after marrying into the Shibi tribe from outside. She has become proficient in traditional methods such as extracting silk from ramie, obtaining colors from plants, and weaving with a loom, and has established a workshop to actively promote these crafts. Visitors can experience DIY activities such as plant dyeing, weaving, and frame weaving, and there are also café and homestay services available.
