Shibi Weaving Workshop DIY Introduction
The owner of the dyeing workshop, Lin Shuli, began learning the traditional Atayal weaving techniques after marrying into the Shibi tribe. She has become quite skilled in traditional methods such as extracting silk from ramie, using plants for dyeing, and weaving on a loom. She also established the workshop to actively promote these skills. Visitors can experience DIY activities like plant dyeing, weaving, and frame weaving paintings, and there are also café and accommodation services available.
