Shibi Dyeing Workshop DIY Introduction
The owner of the dyeing workshop, Lin Shuli, started learning the traditional Atayal weaving and dyeing techniques after marrying into the Shibi tribe from another region. She has become proficient in traditional methods such as extracting silk from ramie, obtaining colors from plants, and weaving on a loom. She has also established a workshop to actively promote these crafts. Visitors can experience DIY activities such as natural dyeing, weaving, and frame weaving, and there are also café and homestay services available.
