Taishingyan Trail Introduction
Taixing Rock Trail is approximately 850 meters above sea level and stretches 650 meters in length, weaving through tea plantations and primary forests. In recent years, with the promotion of hiking trails, Taixing Rock Trail has gradually become a major resting spot for visitors en route to Ruijili. The trailhead is located next to County Road 166, featuring an observation platform and an interpretive sign, offering a broad view. The trail is situated amidst expansive tea fields, with serene and elegant scenery. Walking along the ridge between the mountains, the area is rich in ecology, and there are often opportunities to see endemic species such as the Taiwan Blue Magpie; other flora, such as the Taiwan Rhododendron, blooms in clusters resembling brocade every April and May. At the end of the trail, "Taixing Rock" is solemn and tranquil, serving as the center of faith for the residents of Taixing Village. The century-old plum tree and the bamboo grove behind the temple exude a sense of ancient charm.
