Tai Hing Rock Trail Introduction
Taihing Mountain Trail is located at an elevation of approximately 850 meters and has a total length of 650 meters, weaving through tea plantations and primitive forests. In recent years, with the promotion of trail tourism, Taihing Mountain Trail has gradually become a major resting spot for visitors to Ruili. The trailhead is located beside County Road 166, featuring a viewing platform and an interpretive sign, offering a wide view. The trail is situated amidst expansive tea gardens, presenting a serene and elegant scenery. Walking along the ridge lines of the trail, the ecology is rich, and there are often opportunities to see endemic bird species such as the Taiwan Blue Magpie; other species like the Taiwan Rhododendron bloom beautifully in April and May. At the end of the trail lies "Taihing Rock," a solemn and tranquil center of faith for the residents of Taihing village, with a century-old plum tree and a bamboo grove behind the temple, exuding ancient charm and tranquility.
