Taihingyan Trail Introduction
Taixingyan Trail is approximately 850 meters above sea level and stretches 650 meters, weaving through tea plantations and pristine forests. In recent years, with the promotion of trail activities, Taixingyan Trail has gradually become a major resting spot for visitors en route to Ruili. The trailhead is located alongside Provincial Highway 166, featuring a viewing platform and an information board, offering a broad view, and the trail is set among expansive tea gardens, presenting serene and elegant scenery. Walking along the ridge of the trail, one can experience rich ecology and often spot unique bird species from Taiwan such as the Blue Pheasant; other species like the Taiwan Rhododendron bloom abundantly in April and May, resembling clusters of brocade. At the end of the trail is "Taixing Rock," solemn and tranquil, which serves as the spiritual center for the residents of Taixing Village. The century-old plum tree and the bamboo forest behind the temple add a sense of ancient charm.
