Baoshan No. 2 Group Cherry Blossom Park Introduction
Baoshan Second Group Cherry Blossom Park is located at the 16.5K mark on Tengzhilin Road in the Tao Yuan District, at an altitude of nearly 1,500 meters. Covering an area of approximately 38 hectares, it is also known as the "38-Hectare Cherry Blossom Park." Due to its high elevation, it offers excellent views, allowing visitors to gaze at Xiaoguanshan, the entrance to the Nanheng Highway, and the Baolai Hot Spring area. The park is home to nearly 5,000 cherry trees of different varieties, which bloom mainly from late winter to early spring (approximately January to February each year). The vibrant blossoms transform the 38 hectares into a sea of cherry pink, signaling the arrival of spring. It is the top destination for cherry blossom viewing in the Kaohsiung area. A recommended stay is about 2 hours, during which visitors can hike along the cherry blossom trail and enjoy the abundant phytoncides from the mountain forest.
