Baoshan Second Group Cherry Blossom Park Introduction
Baoshan Second Group Sakura Park is located at 16.5K on Tengzhilin Road in the Taoyuan District, with an elevation of nearly 1,500 meters. Covering an area of approximately 38 hectares, it is also known as "38 Hectares Sakura Park." Due to its elevated position, it offers excellent views, allowing visitors to overlook Xiaoguanshan, the entrance to Nanhuan Road, and the Baolai hot spring area. The park is home to nearly 5,000 cherry blossom trees of different varieties, which bloom predominantly from late winter to early spring (approximately every January to February). The vibrant sea of blossoms transforms the 38 hectares into a dazzling display of cherry pink, signaling the arrival of spring, making it a top cherry blossom viewing spot in the Kaohsiung area. A recommended stay time is around 2 hours, during which visitors can hike along the cherry blossom trail and absorb the forest's rich phytoncide.
