Baoshan Second Group Cherry Blossom Park Introduction
Baoshan Second Group Cherry Blossom Park is located at the 16.5K mark of Tengzhilin Road in the Taoyuan District, at an elevation of nearly 1500 meters. The park covers an area of approximately 38 hectares, thus it is also known as "38 Hectare Cherry Blossom Park." Due to its high location, it offers excellent views, allowing visitors to overlook Xiaoguanshan, the entrance to the South Cross-Island Highway, and the Baolai Hot Spring area. The park features nearly 5,000 cherry trees of various species, blooming primarily between late winter and early spring (around January to February each year). The beautiful sea of blossoms decorates the 38 hectares in vibrant cherry blossom colors, signaling the arrival of spring, making it a top cherry blossom viewing spot in the Kaohsiung area. A recommended stay time is about 2 hours, during which visitors can hike along the cherry blossom trail and absorb the rich phytoncides from the mountain forests.
