Dongxi Bridge Introduction
Dongxi Bridge is located on Provincial Highway 27 in Liugui District. It has a total length of 131 meters and a width of 7 meters. It was destroyed by the severe flooding of Laonong River caused by Typhoon Mindulle in 2004, which disrupted local transportation. It was later reconstructed with the donation and assistance of China Steel Corporation and completed in 2005, continuing to serve the transportation needs of the people in Liugui District. From Provincial Highway 27, one can see a crimson arch bridge resembling the handle of a basket, radiating endless vitality beneath the clear and vast sky. It is recommended to stop here for about 10 minutes to admire the scenery of the streams on both sides of the bridge.
