Dongxi Bridge Introduction
Dongxi Bridge is located on Provincial Highway 27 in Liugui District. It spans 131 meters in length and 7 meters in width. Due to Typhoon Mindulle in 2004, the river’s water level rose dramatically and washed it away, causing a disruption in local traffic. It was later rebuilt with the assistance of China Steel Corporation and was completed in 2005, continuing to serve the transportation needs of the Liugui community. From Provincial Highway 27, the bright red arch bridge resembles a basket handle, radiating endless vitality against the clear and vast sky. It is recommended to stop here for about 10 minutes to enjoy the scenic views of the creek on both sides of the bridge.
