Dongxi Bridge Introduction
Dongxi Bridge is located on Provincial Highway 27 in Liugui District. It has a total length of 131 meters and a width of 7 meters. Due to Typhoon Minduli in 2004, the Laonong River rose dramatically and destroyed the bridge, causing local traffic disruptions. The bridge was later rebuilt with assistance from China Steel Corporation and was completed in 2005, resuming its service for the residents of Liugui District. From Provincial Highway 27, the bright red arch bridge resembles a basket handle, radiating endless vitality under the clear and vast sky. It is recommended to stay here for about 10 minutes to enjoy the scenery of the streams on both sides of the bridge.
