Dongxi Bridge Introduction
Dongxi Bridge is located on Provincial Highway 27 in Liugui District, measuring 131 meters in length and 7 meters in width. It was destroyed by the flooding caused by Typhoon Mindulle in 2004, which disrupted local transportation. Subsequently, China Steel Corporation donated funds to assist in the reconstruction, which was completed in 2005, allowing it to continue serving the commuting needs of the Liugui community. From the perspective of Provincial Highway 27, the bridge appears as a vibrant crimson arch, resembling a basket handle, exuding endless vitality under the clear and vast sky. It is recommended to stop here for about 10 minutes to enjoy the scenic views of the streams on both sides of the bridge.
