Tree Bank Introduction
On the way to Alishan National Scenic Area, you will definitely see a large wooden house in Fanlu Township. This is the Chuku Work Station of the Chiayi Forest District Office, which is also the only natural education center in the country with a tree bank, providing a space for the preservation of precious old trees. Each old tree has its own life story waiting for you to listen to. The park features over a hundred species of mid- and low-elevation trees and butterfly-attracting plants, with seasonal scenery and ecological species that are all unique, ready for you to discover. This center is staffed with environmental education project teachers specifically for outdoor teaching services for middle and elementary school students. With professional personnel, rich and exciting courses, and a safe environment, it creates a new world where children can happily learn in nature and learn from nature.
