TreeBank Introduction
On the way to Alishan National Scenic Area, you will definitely see a large wooden house in Fanlu Township. This is the Chukou Work Station of the Forestry Bureau Chiayi Forest District, which is also the only nature education center in Taiwan that has a tree bank, providing a space for preserving precious old trees. Each old tree has its own life story waiting for you to listen to; the park plants more than a hundred species of mid- and low-elevation tree species and butterfly-attracting plants, with unique seasonal scenery and ecological species waiting for you to discover. This center is staffed with environmental education program teachers, specifically serving outdoor education for junior high and elementary school students. With professional manpower, rich and exciting courses, and a safe environment, it creates a new world where children can happily learn in nature and learn from nature; themed activities on specific Saturdays provide the best leisure and entertainment spots for the general public.
